So tonight at work, the really really cute guy who works in Games was working too. He’s got tattoos and piercings and blonde hair and such a pretty face and it’s just not fair. I don’t even know his name. He smiled at me tonight though when he was walking by the counter and I was standing in my spot at the back of the store. At the very end of the night, about 5 minutes before closing I decided that I would try to get his attention or something even though we’ve never spoken before. So I put my ipod onto the TV and played King for a Day - Pierce the Veil ft. Kellin Quin. Bingo. He came over and was like “Ahhh Pierce the Veil. Niceeee”. Then he asked if I was going to Soundwave next year and I said that I was and was so keen to see X and Y and Z bands play. He then said that he was so excited because he is going to be the guitar tech for 3 bands, including Bring Me to The Horizon at ALL of the Soundwave shows. He gets free flights, free accomodation, free drinks and food the whole time plus obviously getting into all Soundwaves. He gets paid $500 per show and is free to go and watch the other bands when those particular bands aren’t playing. So so lucky.
But yes, we bonded over music. If only he wasn’t probably close to 8 years older than me. If only I knew his name. Plus I have a feeling he has a girlfriend…..Must investigate this further.
